Video 1. Switzerland Travel―Visiting Mt Schilthorn near Mürren (YouTube link)
The Schilthorn (2,970 meters (9,744 ft)) is a summit in Europe, in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. It overlooks the valley of Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland and is the highest mountain in the range lying north of the Sefinenfurgge Pass. The Schilthorn lies above the village of Mürren, from where a cable car leads to its summit.
On 06/30/2019, a hot summer day, we have visited Mt Schilthorn from Wengen taking the following route:
Wengen → Lauterbrunnen → Grütschalp → Mürren → Birg → SchilthornIf you hold a Swiss Travel Pass, this route is fully covered by it.
