I had this great calendar from my best friend Christine, who knows me very well. For every month there is a cute picture, and an encouraging comment. And the cover says "Don't be afraid to slow down". Chris knows I have always been busy and sometimes tried to squeeze in too much. I'm grateful for her loving concern. I can be 'retired' now, and maybe slacken off the pace a little,

Maybe not this slowly! [however, I can strongly recommend this game for KS1 children and their families - it is cleverly designed so that nobody wins except the snails]

But I can enjoy taking time to walk with my family, and build relationships, and not have to rush home to 'get things done'
