Yesterday Tom was sick all day. Our son Matt took one look and decided that things were not right and so we called 111.
Apparently all the ambulances were busy and it would be at least 2 hours before we could get one, so could we take him to A&E ourselves.
We did this and sat among the usual array of humans, some nice and some nuts for a long time, Tom is nearly 80 and was dozing off and in pain.
We got there around 7 p.m. and it was 2 a.m in the morning before Matt and myself left the Hospital minus Tom.
It appears that he may have another blockage in the pipes and at this moment he is having x rays and scans.
Will know more later today.
I can't tell you how many times Tom has been in this Hospital for various illnesses and it just goes on and on. I must count up one day.
Oh, and it took me half an hour to get through to A&E this morning to find out how he was, kept getting cut off.
Does the NHS need more resources?
